Boyd Mulvey, CEO

Boyd has worked with early stage companies for the past 20 years as employee, advisor, investor and CEO.  Boyd started his career developing software to assess risk in the compliance and regulatory reporting division of a then start up company called Credit Suisse Financial Products – a specialist derivative bank.  This role involved developing risk assessment (including fraud, loss and risk management) tools for the bank.   After the successful launch of “FRED” (Financial Regulatory/ Risk Exposure Database) and the success of CSFP in the marketplace Boyd moved to a strategy and advisory role for UBS.   Boyd has assisted in the formation of several companies and advised the first ever float of a software company on TechMARK (the UK’s leading technology index).  As CEO of CREATE Partners Limited, Boyd has represented CREATE on the board of ThorpeGlen as founder investor in the Company prior to taking an operational role in ThorpeGlen.


Stephen Lamb, COO

Stephen has 10 years experience in managing technical operations within software, telecommunications, security and fraud environments.  Stephen also has extensive experience in criminal investigations.

Stephen was a founder of ThorpeGlen Ltd, which was the result of a management buy-out of the dedicated security business from Azure Solutions Ltd.


Tony Chester, CTO

Tony Chester, CTO

Tony Chester has been a professional engineer since graduating with honours in Electronic Engineering from the University of Wales in 1986, and is a member of The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

Tony work for British Telecommunications plc for 18 years where his latter roles included leading a team of graduate researchers in Security Management developing defences against malicious attacks on networks and systems.  He led the development of BT’s fraud management solution which enabled BT to massively reduce its loss due to fraud and also build a business based on that product.  Tony was a founder member of Azure Solutions Ltd. which took the fraud management product and other Revenue Assurance products to become a successful business in its own right.

Tony’s recent interests include the use of Social Profiling and Social Network Analysis in counter terrorism, which he is pursuing through collaborative research funded by the European Union.

Tony was a founder of ThorpeGlen Ltd., which was the result of a management buy-out of the dedicated security business from Azure.

Joseph is an experienced Sales Director with a proven track record of success within national and international telecommunications, Security and Government market sectors he brings exceptional account management, new business & business development skills.

With experience of all aspects of managing the sale and customer relations this adds to the management skill set already at ThorpeGlen.
