David Miliband visits ThorpeGlen
David Miliband - secretary of state for foreign and commonwealth affairs - visited ThorpeGlen at Adastral Park on Wednesday 22 July during an afternoon of engagements in Ipswich.

The minister viewed a demonstration by ThorpeGlen, an Adastral Park-based provider of surveillance and security solutions that recently won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category.

Chief executive, Dave Woods gave a presentation on the history and work of the company, Stephen Lamb Operations manager gave short demonstration on how ThorpeGlen’s technology discovers new suspicious mobile handsets and then the Minister met and talked to the UK based staff who had contributed so much to the success of the company over the last three years.
